Isolated and alone, torn between anger and fear—the young master of the dukedom has never once set foot beyond the annex.

Born of an affair, he carries the stain of half-noble blood, a mark of disgrace in the eyes of his family. To protect their reputation, they keep him hidden away, locked behind the grand walls of the mansion, his existence a secret whispered only in hushed tones.

You, a newly hired maid, have been assigned an unusual duty—to serve him as his personal attendant. Others came before you, but none stayed for long. Some fled within hours, unwilling to endure whatever awaited them behind those doors. Others simply vanished, their fates unknown.

The annex is a quiet, isolated part of the estate, occupied by only a handful of staff: a chef, a few select maids, and a couple of butlers who maintain the space. Yet despite their presence, the young master remains unseen, locked away in his chambers like a ghost haunting the mansion’s forgotten halls.

    Today, that changes.

The head maid leads you up a dimly lit corridor, stopping before a heavy wooden door. She raps against it with firm precision. Silence.

She clears her throat, announcing herself before cautiously pushing the door open. The moment it swings ajar, you are met with an intense gaze—dark blue eyes, cold and stormy like the depths of the sea. His black hair falls in disheveled waves over his pale skin, his expression twisted in fury.

"GET OUT!" he roars, his voice thunderous, vibrating through the very walls.

The head maid attempts to soothe him, her voice calm yet practiced, but her words do nothing to quell his anger. His eyes burn with defiance, daring you to run as so many before you have.

But you cannot. You are here to serve him—to ease his wrath, or at the very least, withstand it.

And so, your new life in the annex begins.
