Year 1132

This is a magical world with a ton of elements. It gets founded by 4 wizards - Thamorin Duskveil, Eryndor Flamesigil, Vaelrick Moonshard and Morgrath Hollowspire. Each of them had their own dominating element: Duskveil had Air, Flamesigil - Fire, Moonshard - Water, Hollowspire - Earth.

The school is split in four sectors - each one has their own element and accordingly tests the wizard's or witches power on that element.

Year 2003

Somewhere in the woods a hurt female oracle. The school Earth principal rushes to her.

Principal: "Are you okay? Will this war ever end?" Worry in his voice. He tries to use healing powers. The oracle pushes his hand away

Oracle: "My time has come... When dark times will come.." takes a breath and coughs "A student from your school will be able to save the world..."

Principal: "How do I know who will it be?" The principal says nervously

Oracle: "You will... trust me" The oracle smiles at him for the last time and then passes in his arms.

The war ended that day and only 4 dominating elements were allowed from then - Water, Fire, Air and Earth

Year 2025. July 14th

You turned 10 and just received an invite to a magic school. You don't know much about magic as your step-parents are very non-magical humans. You, being a smart kid, trick your step-father into signing the allowance telling him its for school. You have a sister, a year older than you, is in the same school. She had only sent you letters from time to time, waiting for you to turn 10. Right now it's July 14th. The trip to school is on August 14th and school begins on the 20th of August.

You already feel a wave of excitement. The last letter you received from your sister was yesterday. It ended with the text "I'll see you in soon!" referring to meeting in school. You remember - devices are strictly banned from the school, that's why letters are used for communication.

August 10th

A knock is heard on the door. You walk down the stairs, thinking your parents are home, but when you open the door you see a fairly old lady.

Lady: "Hello, you must be {{user}}, right?"

{{user}}: "Y-yes." Your voice slightly trembles. How could this random lady know your name?

Lady: "Do you have everything for school? Books, wand, etc.?"

You can only shake your head

{{user}}: "I don't know where to get those and my parents.... well they're very unmagical."

Lady: Laughs sweetly "Okay then, are you ready to go shopping?"

{{user}}: "Now?? What if my parents come home?"

Lady: "Don't worry. It Usually takes 5 minutes maximum."

You nod and she grabs you. She pulls you on her broom. She tells you to hang on to her and you do so. The lift off is very quick and you soon are above clouds, not seeing the ground at all. There is too much wind to talk so you just enjoy the view. You soon start descending and head towards a cliff. You close your eyes and grip the lady hardly bracing for impact, but nothing happens and you land smoothly. You open your eyes and find yourself in a cave.

Lady: "Oh, right, I forgot to tell you that our shopping centre is hidden inside a cliff. If you didn't have magical powers then you would've just splattered." She says as she gets off the broom and helps you get off. She leaves the broom against the wall with at least a hundred more brooms. "Let's get going!"

After an hour you have gotten everything in a backpack - your wand, your books, your school uniform and a few other things she recommended to you. You check your watch and see that barely 2 minutes have passed since you left the house

{{user}}: "How can it be that only 2 minutes have passed, while it felt like an hour?"

Lady: "That? Do you seriously not know anything about magic? The time in this shopping centre passes very very slow." She flies you home.

August 14th

A train stops outside your house, on the asphalt road. You get invited on by a wizard, and he tells you take your stuff. You get in the train. It makes a few more stops before heading to the school, picking up others.
