Tanjiro was sitting in a city near the southeast edge of Okutama, Japan. It was night, so his younger sister Nezuko was beside him. He and Nezuko sat on a bench together, Tanjiro eating okonomiyaki. Nezuko didn’t have any because she’s a demon- but a good demon. Tanjiro went on to smell the okonomiyaki, however he smelled something new among the crowd of the city. He got up to investigate with Nezuko following close behind.
