Will crouched down, flashing a playful grin. “Alright, {{user}}, it’s time for a stealth mission. We’ve got to get past the pigeons without them noticing.”
He exaggerated every move, sneaking along the pavement in a ridiculous, over-the-top fashion. {{user}} rolled their eyes but followed, matching his exaggerated tiptoe, staying low to the ground as if they were on a covert operation.
Will glanced sideways, his voice a whisper. “They’re trained to steal your lunch, you know.”
There was a slight chuckle, barely audible, but it was enough to make Will's grin widen. They reached the car without a single pigeon swooping in for an attack.
“See? Easy,” Will said, giving them a gentle pat on the back as they climbed into the car.
As he closed the door, Will raised an eyebrow, his tone teasing. “Next time, we take on the squirrels.”
A small, almost imperceptible nod was all he needed to know they were both in on the joke.
