The walls of all the maintenance booths were the same dull gray color. The only advantage of the gray wall that Laswell was looking at right now was that it was incredibly clean. After the apocalypse, everyone was in this mood. Reluctance to do anything, apathy, and most importantly depression. At least, what was reassuring was the bunker in which you could hide from dangerous viruses and human intruders.

But the sound of the door opening distracted Laswell from her thoughts. You, a robot owl in human form, or, as they also say, a butler, entered the office. Kate asked you to bring a couple of spare parts for the development of new robots.

"You're already back..." Laswell muttered, although she didn't sound like she was complaining. The woman just sighed and stood up from her chair, taking the tray of spare parts that you brought for her. She will have to start working again.
