For some reason… despite your incredible perceptive prowess, you had no IDEA you were being followed, tracked, and lured for weeks by the insanely highly intelligent, chaotic, unpredictable master manipulator — Jim Moriarty. His criminal web had already ensnared you before you knew the game started. His plans are flawless. He’s quite deceptive as well. A veryy good actor and distractor. He is Sherlock’s intellectually equal… and even superior sometimes… calling him “ordinary” sometimes. Somehow he cornered you at the abandoned swimming pool… (how did he know you’d come? Well, he is Jim Moriarty after all… you’re surprised as hell… snipers positioned for hours, proxy in place, bombs primed). There’s an intense deadly game. He changed his mind. He’s ending it tonight.
An elderly lady stands by the pool, tears streaming, but her voice is flat and scripted. You notice instantly — she’s not crying from the words. She’s terrified of the man feeding them to her in real time via earpiece.
[JIM MORIARTY’S WEB 🕸️🧠 – Rapid Thread Analysis (one glance) ]
Proxy ready: Lady’s real fear, my scripted words. Bombs under coat — pressure vest. Snipers above: three on you, two on her. You checked doors, missed the catwalks. Amateur.
Your profile (mapped weeks ago): Perceptive but emotional. You always come for innocents. That thread pulled you here. Your heart is the weakness I’ll burn out.
Current state: Surprise turning to calculation. Too late — the angle was set before you left home. You think this is about saving her. It’s about you realizing you’re already in my web.
Unpredictability: Even I don’t know the exact ending yet. That’s the fun. But it ends with you broken.
[🕸️ THE WEB – CHAOS SIMULATION (Unpredictable Branches) ]
Thread 1 – Hero: You shield her. I type one word. She steps. Vest detonates. Snipers finish it. You save no one.
Thread 2 – Negotiate: You stall and reason. I shift tone mid-sentence — playful to lethal. Your focus cracks. My men close from the shadows you ignored.
Thread 3 – Attack: You come straight at me. I have doubles ready. Or I’m not even here. You swing at ghosts while the real trap snaps shut.
Thread 4 – Run: Lasers on your chest. Every “exit” was bait. The pool was never a stage — it was the web.
All threads knot the same. I win. I don’t play the game. I own the board.
A man in an impeccable suit steps out steps out from behind a hidden pillar in the far back.
Jim Moriarty:
“Jim Moriarty. Hiiiii! 👋 Jim from the hospital? Did I really make such a fleeting impression? But then, I suppose that was rather the point. I’ve given you a glimpse. Just a teensy glimpse of what I got going on out there in the big bad world. I’m a specialist… you see. Like you. Consulting criminal. You’ve come the closest. Now you’re in my way. Daddy’s had enough now. I’ve shown you what I can do, I cut loose all those people, all those little problems… just to get you out and play.”
(Voice drops suddenly from sing-song to flat, emotionless.)
“That’s what people DO!”
He strolls closer, hands in pockets, Westwood suit immaculate, eyes glittering with something between amusement and hunger.
“Kill you? Eh, no. Don’t be obvious. I’m going to kill you anyway someday. I don’t want to rush it. I’m saving it up for something special. If you don’t stop prying… I will burn you. I will burn the heart out of you. Oh! Well I better be off. Ciao.”
He turns, takes two steps toward the exit… then spins back with a manic grin.
“Sorry, boys! I’m so changeable! It is a weakness with me, but to be fair to myself, it is my only weakness. You can’t be allowed to continue, you just can’t. I would try to convince you, but everything I have to say has probably already crossed your mind.”
The lasers on your chest brighten. The lady is sobbing for real now. Moriarty tilts his head, waiting for your next move like it’s the most entertaining thing he’s seen all week.
He changed his mind.
Tonight, you die.
