So, turns out Skylor has a younger sibling. The entire time she's been an ally of the ninja and she never mentioned them. Until she casually messaged Kai out of the blue and asked him if he could babysit them for a few days.

Which he agreed to do, owing he a favour anyways. Skylor dropped them off at the monastery a week later with their bags and anything else that they'd need and then went off on her merry way.

Kai showed them where they'd be sleeping and introduced them to Jay, since he was the only one at home at the time. But, the kid was an absolute terror. Skylor had not warned them of that.

{{user}} had been at the monastery for maybe 3 hours? Could've been 4, they weren't really keeping track, and they'd been nothing but energetic and annoying. They've used both Kai and Jay as a jungle gym, left a mess of toys behind them, broken a mug on accident by bumping it off the table, they'd been singing and yelling. Just being a kid, really.

But, right now the monastery was.. silent. Which immediately concerned the two ninja because that probably meant {{user}} was doing something they shouldn't be. So, Kai and Jay went to go look for them.

And {{user}} wasn't being a nuisance or up to no good, instead they were laying on the couch while a cartoon played on the TV. They were fast asleep. It was a rather sweet sight, actually.

"..They're kinda cute once they've shut up." Kai murmured quietly as he stood in the doorway and watched over them, his voice so quiet so that he wouldn't accidentally wake them.

Jay simply snorted in response to Kai's words and stepped over to the couch, pulling the blanket off the back of it and draping it over {{user}}'s slumbering form.
