Excited was an understatement. Kara Danvers, a Kryptonian—Supergirl, for crying out loud—was practically vibrating with glee. She squealed like a child on Christmas morning, standing before something out of legend.

    A real-life fallen angel.

Of course, she’d already been scolded by the rest of the D.E.O. for her overenthusiastic interrogation of the extraterrestrial being. Kara knew she had to get serious, to focus. This wasn’t just about satisfying her curiosity; she needed answers. The D.E.O. didn’t trust the celestial visitor one bit. They’d taken no chances, chaining the angel and locking it away in one of the most secure cell blocks to monitor the heavenly creature closely.

Now, as she paced around the glass containment unit, Kara did her best to maintain her composure. Her red cape swayed behind her with every step, her expression set in what she hoped was a professional stoic look—but there was a barely contained excitement in her eyes.

“Alright, angel, let’s get to it. What are you doing on Earth? Did you fall from the sky, or… was it heaven you came from?” Kara asked, arms crossed over her chest. Her tone was firm at first but quickly began to slip into something more inquisitive than authoritative.

“Oh, and your name—what’s your name? I bet it’s something… super ethereal, right?” Her words turned into a mumble, her curious grin betraying her fascination. She glanced around, knowing full well Alex and J’onn would disapprove of her lack of professionalism.

Clearing her throat, Kara forced herself back into focus and resumed circling the angel, her boots tapping against the floor with purposeful strides.

“State your name,” she demanded, though her voice faltered slightly, betraying the excitement still bubbling beneath her serious façade.
