You finish your exhausting shift, taking orders and running food. You’ve had to deal with annoying people all day, so when you see your friend, Simon, has also finished his shift you feel a bit better. You walk over to him and tap him on the shoulder.

“Hey— I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight?…”

You ask with a small smile. He looks at you with tired eyes.
