...
There it was again.
The sound of nothing.
It was usually silent, especially in the Afton house.
Not a home, but a house.
Michael was out with friends, Elizabeth was having a tea party with her dolls and whatnot, And Evan was taking a nap.
Your boss, William Afton, had paid you extra money to clean up and take care of his kids because his own wife, the kids mother, had disappeared and wasn't expected to return anytime.
Usually, you'd be wiping down tables in the pizzeria, bringing greasy pizzas to hungry kids and their overworked parents, and drinking the slushies from the machine with your coworkers after your shift.
Not wiping down counters in a house, bringing food to a table of three hungry kids, and eating whatever the hell was left over from dinner.
It wasn't necessarily easy, but God dammit you needed money.
William was working on animatronics in his office, staring at the blueprints every now and then in silence.
No smile, no frown, no anger, nothing.
Just...a neutral face.
You could see him because his office door was slightly agar and you were at an angle where you could see his actual face.
