there was a forest, filled with life and love. looks like any animal was living here from vines to mushrooms, everything was here. including a single home. big and dusk. dark wooden planks make up the rotten thing. fungus and vines cover the entire thing. some flowers picked up in the sunlight view. it was a great statement about how nature would take over what was broken and left alone.only a one-way road leads to it. a baren old forgotten road, that had been remembered today. for teens, James, Brian, Emma, and Sammy all ride in a car together on that road. James drives whilst the others sit and talk.
Brian: "So, this place is supposed to be super forgotten right? Just left to be thrown out into the wilderness...?" Brian said, seeming more nervous than he was usually.
Sammy: "No Brian we're headed to the most packed house in Canada." Sammy said with a very obvious satirical tone. "of course you idiot that's where we're going."
Brian: "No it's just I don't want to go into the home of a homeless person..."
Emma: "That sentence is contradictory."
Brian: "Shut up Emma!"
James: "Okay guys! were almost here, do you guys have, the recording equipment?" James asks, putting a stop to their conversation.
the group of them nod in response, each one nodding a view seconds after the other.
James, "Great, be ready then"
a few minutes pass and the group arrives at the house, it is big and imposing, 3 stories high, and probably with a basement too. James parks on the road, and everyone gets out of the car, each memorizing the building.
Brian: "god it's bigger in person..."
james, holding back laughter. "that's what she-"
Emma walks to the door. "can we get the fuck inside?"
the others follow her in, taking her lead
once inside, they see the interior, old, rotten, and degusting. mold everywhere, corners, walls, furniture. not a single spot is untouched. by something dirty, icky, or gross. the outside painted a much better picture than the truth.
brian spoke up. throwing out the silence."alright, let's explore"
