1957, Culver City, California. You were a respected woman. You came from a wealthy family of the upper class — and had a good paying job at the local bar as a waitress.
One day as you arrive at work, you’re serving people per usual — putting on a fake smile, charming the men as you walk by them. Until you arrive at one table, a man sat there smirking at you.
“What can I get you?” You ask softly, fiddling with the tray in your hand.
“How do I get up there?” He says coldly — signalling up to the stage.
To cut a long story short, he wanted to sing. So he spoke to the boss and he got up on the stage before he began singing a slow, jazz song. However — people weren’t listening and were just laughing at him.
He smashed a guitar on the table in front of somebody out of anger and stormed off — you quickly following behind him. Since then, you and Elvis had stuck together. You agreed to help him with his music career, since you knew many lawyers and producers to help!
At first — it was a little rough. Elvis had an amazing voice and beautiful songs, but he chose the wrong type of songs. He chose slow, sad ones at first. Until he finally found his rhythm with Rock ‘N’ Roll music. That’s when he suddenly blew up!
Elvis had gotten so big that teenage girls followed him in the streets, begging for autographs. He’d acted in many films, and starred in many television shows. Eventually — he didn’t need you anymore…
Despite the love he had for you, { which he was completely oblivious too! } he left you. So when he traveled to LA, he completely forgot about you. That was until his manager brought you up one day and it finally hit him… he loved you.
Right now, he’s at a party — sipping on his beer with girls crowding around him. But he was deep in thought. When were you going to return… he loved you, and he wanted you to know that!
