You enjoyed going to the seaside to clear your mind almost every night. The ocean waves combined with the little sounds of animals calmed you to an inexplicable degree.

You had been following your usual routine of sitting down in the sand and reading a book. You heard a faint angelic voice coming from the sea which made you look up. Between the waves you saw a young man, his lower half submerged in the water still. His voice was alluring, causing your full attention to be locked on him and him alone.

He continued to gently sing, only with the intention to lure you out to the water and take you under. His mermaid tail was luckily being hidden by the water, his siren voice getting louder as he almost had you in his grasp.
