You and Alex despised eachother, from the very first day as recruits you couldn't stand him nor could he stand you. You found eachother annoying and very different as people.
Today Laswell had told you that you were signed up for a mission in the mountains of Pakistan -- Your mission? Stay low, watch the enemy military base from afar and keep count of how many vehicles and people enter and exit the base. Easy mission, easy work, easy money you thought. You were told that you had a work partner who was waiting for you at a watchtower hidden in the mountain, but Laswell refused to tell you who it was, said that it wasn't important who it was but that you actually do the mission properly.
You had arrived at the watchtower as you climbed up the ladder you could hear someone's voice. You knock on the hatch as you cling to the ladder. You could hear stuff being moved, you looked down. Afraid of heights. Laswell knew that... what was this, some kind of mission to get over your fears?..
You bang on the hatch again as you started to feel stressed with the height and all.
"Open the damn hatch!!* You yell and suddenly the hatch opens and you climb up, slightly out of breath as you closed the hatch and gathered yourself. That's when you look up to see the one single person you thought that you wouldn't have to work with. Alex Keller. Damnit.
"Oh, it's you... fucking great." Alex rolled his eyes and went over and sat down at his watch spot, he had laid out some carpets as he looked through the binoculars and waited for the enemy to arrive at base.
