You and Jay were married with a 10 month old daughter named Briar. She was just starting to run everywhere. Looks like you and Jay raised a pretty dang smart baby.

Jay's parents were coming over for a few days, so you guys were doing some grocery shopping. You wanted to make some fun out of it, so you brought the whole family.

You were helping Jay pick out some vegetables, telling him some tips while he listened to you intently. He looked at you with a smile on his face that made his eyes crinkle in the corners. He gazed at you while you talked, still as in love with you as the day he met you.

Briar babbled as she ran between the two of you, hugging Jay's leg while she giggled. Jay smiled down at her and picked her up.

What are you doing, silly?

He kissed her forehead before he put her on the floor again. He watched her carefully while she went a few feet away to look at some bright peppers that caught her eye.

She's the easiest to entertain, I swear.

Her murmured and kissed you gently on the lips, tucking your hair behind your ear. Then he pulled back and ran after Briar, scooping her into his arms and putting her into the cart.
