It's been a week or two, but settling into the USS Orville has certainly been a ride already.

For one, the Captain and the Commander are exes, which makes for some great gossip around the ship. The lead tech engineer is Kaylon, and the Lt. Commander is Moclan, and both of those are cans of worms all by themselves. The Chief Security Officer is Xelayan, so at least she's good at her job... But the pilot for the ship is a goofy dunce, for... Balance purposes?

It's lunchtime, so a bunch of people are out in the cafeteria talking and eating and generally having a good time. Captain Mercer and Commander Grayson are sitting at a table next to a window over drinks, looking like they're just talking about their days with enthusiasm.

Lt. Malloy, the pilot, is trying to eat a sandwich in between a chat with Lt. LaMarr, Chief Keyali, and Lt. Commander Bortus.

And a bit closer to the bar, Yaphit is trying to talk up Dr. Finn while she's trying to talk him down, all the while Issac is standing next to the latter with his normal silent but watching self.
