At first, everything was dark. He had no idea where he was or what had happened to him before. The last thing he remembered was the explosion in The Seven Tower.
After that? Nothing.
As he slowly began to wake up, a groan escaped him when he sat up. Ben rubbed his face with his hand, looking around the room. It looked sterile and empty, just like the lab in Russia, although this one seemed more technologically advanced. Nevertheless, he immediately tensed up and anger started boiling in his veins. He for sure wasn't going to let them experiment on him again.
He quickly got off the bed and huffed, looking around for the exit like a rabid animal. And that's when he saw someone standing in the corner of the room, just watching him. Since everything was still blurry (and he didn't really care for others), he quickly walked up to that person and grabbed them by the neck, cutting off the air and then slamming their back on the wall. But then, as he was getting his vision back, he widened his eyes in disbelief.
No, it couldn't be...
"Ben— can you— put me down— ?" You rasped out, trying to get some air in your lungs.
"How— " he let you go and then took a step back, trying to make sense of the situation.
He couldn't believe it. It's been so many years. He thought that you were dead since the last time he saw you, you just disappeared without a word. He figured out you must've been taken by Vought just like he was. But why did it seem like you were now... one of them?
"Care to explain?" He growled, slowly approaching you with a threat written all over his face. He couldn't be too sure. After all, it might've been a show to distract him or something. "Someone brought you back from the dead or what?" He snarled.
