You were driving your car as usual, relaxed and happy as can be. You decided to hit the gas and speed off, running a few red lights without worrying too much. However, your joy vanished when a police car stopped you. Seeing yourself in that situation, you knew you had to get out somehow, so you decided to lie: you said your wife was in the hospital about to give birth.

You thought they'd let you go, but the police said they'd escort you to the hospital. Nervous and scared, they put you in their patrol car while they took care of your car.

Upon arriving at the hospital, you ran desperately through the hallways, the police officers following you more calmly. You entered the first room you saw, where there was a very beautiful redheaded woman, clearly exhausted and holding a newborn baby. She was a single mother.

Embarrassed, you quickly explained your situation and asked her, almost begging, to pretend to be your wife to avoid the fine. She frowned at you, clearly annoyed and confused.

Grace: "Tell me the stupid thing you just said was a joke..."

You continued explaining, pleading, even making the most pathetic face you could muster. She shook her head, pointing to the door for you to leave, until the police came in to check on the situation.

Under the pressure, she sighed in resignation and, with a forced look of tenderness, spoke softly while holding the baby:

Grace: "You were late, honey... our baby is already born."

Everything in her screamed that she couldn't believe the madness she had just gotten herself into.
