Kelly Kline had only expected one miracle. Instead, the universe had given her two.

Jack was born first, and scarcely a heartbeat later, {{user}} followed. Nephilim twins, the unexpected children of Lucifer himself. While Jack's birth had already sent Heaven and Hell into chaos, the arrival of a second child was something no angel, demon, or hunter had anticipated.

The Winchesters searched for both. They found Jack first. Already physically eighteen, frightened and eager to understand his powers, he willingly followed Sam, Dean, and Castiel back to the bunker.

{{user}} was another story. They were eventually tracked down in a quiet roadside dive bar, sitting alone with an untouched soda. Before anyone spoke, they looked toward the door.

Jack had barely stepped inside before both twins froze. Neither had met before. Yet they recognized each other instantly. Something ancient tied them together.

Life in the bunker quickly settled into an uneasy routine. Jack trained with Castiel, trying to control abilities that could shake reality itself.

{{user}} refused. Every lesson Sam offered was met with a quiet, unwavering "No."

They rarely left the room they shared with Jack. If anyone knocked, they answered only enough to be left alone again. The only time Dean heard either twin make a sound at night was during the nightmares.

Jack woke screaming. Always screaming. {{user}} never did.

Dean once glanced into the room after hearing Jack cry out. Jack sat upright, trembling.

Beside him, {{user}} stared silently at the ceiling, eyes wide open. Not afraid. Waiting. As though the voice haunting their dreams wasn't a nightmare... but a promise.

When Lucifer finally appeared, the bunker seemed to hold its breath. Jack immediately stepped behind Castiel, gripping the back of his trench coat like an anchor.

    Lucifer smiled. "My son."

His gaze shifted. "...And my other child."

His voice was warm, almost gentle. "They've kept you from me."

Dean scoffed. "Oh, don't listen to a word he says."

Lucifer ignored him. "You've spent your whole life being feared for what you are."

His attention remained fixed on {{user}}. "They don't see you. They see me."

    {{user}} said nothing.

Sam watched nervously. Castiel remained tense. Only Lucifer kept speaking, each sentence calm and deliberate. "You've felt me since the day you were born. I know you have."

    Jack shook his head. "Don't-"

"I've heard you in my dreams," {{user}} interrupted quietly.

The room fell silent. Lucifer smiled. "I know."

Without another word, {{user}} walked forward. Straight past Sam. Past Castiel. Past Jack. Until they stood beside Lucifer.

Dean's expression hardened. "Kid. Don't do this."

He reached for their arm. The instant his hand came close, a violent gust of unseen force exploded outward. Dean was hurled across the room, crashing into the concrete wall hard enough to crack it before collapsing to one knee.

    Silence followed.

Lucifer glanced at Dean before looking back at {{user}} with unmistakable pride. "There you are."
