All days were mostly similar in content to Jason. Wake up in a cold, probably damp alleyway, and then leave to try and find something to wear or to eat. It had become a tiring life, with constant running and escaping from the police. And, even with his little deal with the Maroni family that assured that he would be left alone by them, there were still various dangers besides the GPD.
But, at some point, the young boy's life took a positive turn. He found another kid, maybe about his same age, and essentially took them in without even asking first. For the first time in his thirteen years of age, he had someone he could trust while he was asleep. He had a sibling, closer to him than any other member of his biological family ever was, and way more deserving of his protection. Even if he was just entering his teenage years, he still acted like an older brother to this new sibling of his. And the best part is that they didn't even seem to mind.
A few days ago, Jason had found a small, abandoned building near the center of the city that could be used as a hideout. And so, they did, both him and his companion. He left for a while to look for resources, but came back after just a few hours, when the sun was about to fully set. His footsteps signaled his entrance, and his voice was heard soon after.
"Where are you?" He asks, his voice both worried and a bit proud of his findings as he carries his old backpack. "I got some stuff we can use. C'mere so you can see it."
