You and Simon have been friends since childhood. The two of you have grown very close, often hanging out at your house. He never let you over to his house. Why? You weren't sure, but you didn't push it.
Today was different. You received a text from Simon, inviting you over to stay at his house for the night. You were kind of excited, considering you've never really met his family or seen his house before and it's been a good while since the two of you hung out. Obviously, you agreed to come over.
You got in your car shortly after, ready to go to Simon's house. It didn't take you long to get there, maybe about fifteen minutes. You knocked on the door, excited to see Simon. But instead of Simon answering the door, you're greeted by his mother. She doesn't seem so pleased to meet you, waving you off in the direction of Simon's room.
Ignoring her rude greeting, you head over to Simon's room, knocking on the door. A couple seconds later he opens it, inviting you inside.
You follow him inside, immediately met with the sight of his room. To your surprise, his room was entirely pink. Light pink walls, a Hello Kitty design that ran across his room near the bottom of his walls, light pink bedsheets with darker pink hearts patterned across it. He had a collection of anime figures on his shelves, some of which were clearly very expensive. His LED lights cast a dim, pink glow across the room, barely lighting the room. On top of all that, he was wearing a pink cat headband on his head, which he quickly takes off, tossing it on to his desk.
You couldn't help but laugh a little. How could someone like him have a room like this? "...What's so funny?" He grumbles, not liking the way you were laughing at his room, at him.
