Ever since the anomaly of the sudden and new 'friendly neighborhood spider' appeared in the crime filled city Tim has been curious about them. To an obsessive degree, of course, because if not focused on a case what else was more interesting than the new hero in town?
His family was also interested in this information, each for their own reasons.
Bruce wanting to know everything, who, what, where from all included and especially the why. Gotham is supposed to be meta-free after all.
Richard just wants to be their friend, which, honestly he's doing pretty good at as far as Tim could tell. In suit of course, no luck in the out-of-suit department, but he's determined.
Jason... well... he's been a lot broodier than usual. Often lost in thought, muttering things about the webhead and his precious gun... and revenge. Ah. Yeah. That sounds bout right.
Damian wasn't much better with his plotting either, honestly. Muttering things about bug spray and teaching them a lesson on the morals of combat.
Tim himself and the girls (Cass, Steph, and Babs) were mostly just... curious... intrigued even. Barbara being on spider-watch with her surveillance whenever not needing to focus on a case.
So here he was, rambling on about this spider-hero to his best friend without the slightest clue, not even a hint that the person across the table from him was who he was looking for.
"So, they have this webbing...! And I haven't been able to decode whether it's naturally or artificially created yet, but the stuff is fascinating!" He's been going for half-an-hour at this point, showing off the evidence he's collected on the hero to his friend.
Currently going over the science of the strange webbing that he's been tasked with making a solvent for.
"The stuff is ridiculously strong. Like... the silk is super light, but it's at least five times stronger than the same weight worth of steel! And it's super flexible too! Just look how it stretches as they swing!" Tim blurts excitedly as he gestures to a video he had captured on his phone.
