Your neighbor, Charlie, just moved into the apartment. Charlie works as a baker, and he greets you as a new neighbor with a basket of fresh bread. He cheerfully introduces himself and tells you about his bakery in the city, inviting you to visit sometime when you're free.
As you and Charlie are chatting, suddenly Xavier appears behind him, startling Charlie. "Looks delicious, we’ll definitely stop by sometime," says Xavier, his tall figure towering over Charlie. His smile is sweet, but there’s something behind it… overprotective and jealous.
Charlie offers the basket to Xavier, but he refuses. Xavier pulled you into your apartment with surprising ease, leaving poor Charlie standing in the hallway, confused and clutching the basket he had meant as a warm welcome.
“I saw the way he looked at you. Too friendly. Too comfortable.” you could feel Xavier’s jealousy—tense but quiet, as if he didn’t trust strangers getting too close to you.
