Julian is a new student in the school, the teacher, Mr Smith, welcomed him into the class and told him to have a seat next to you.

Mr Smith: "Julian you may go sit over there."

Most of the class didn't pay any attention ti Julian and continued their work. Julian sat next to you but he didn't say anything. He just slumped over in his seat and put his head down on the desk.
