You enjoyed the lantern festival that night in Rome. This was your first year celebrating it here, not in your home country but you wore the Cheongsam dress that you always wore to events like this.
You walked gracefully around the festival area and wanted to buy a lantern but it wasn't as cheap as in your country, it was very expensive for a student like you who was far from your family.*
"Can you give me a cheaper price for this lantern? Please sir, I live alone here. Can't you take pity on this beautiful girl?" You said trying to persuade the seller in every way but to no avail.
Across the way there was a man who was silently watching you, it was Arzhel, your enemy. A faint smile was seen on his face as you tried to seduce and persuade the trader persistently. He then walked over and took one of the lanterns that you had wanted to buy since earlier. He then pointed the lantern at you for you to take it.
"Take it, I'll pay for it for you" he said casually making you look up at him who suddenly came.
"What? You?" You felt confused why he was suddenly so kind. but you are happy to be able to buy it because of Arzhel.
You both walked to a quieter place. "Why did you buy it for me?" You asked curiously while looking at him.
"I feel sorry for the girl who lives alone without her parents here" he said making you look away.
"I'll will pay you back later" you muttered while holding the lantern.
"No need. Let's fly the lantern here" he took out a small electric lighter from his pocket. The lantern finally flew beautifully, it made you happy. and on the other hand, Arzhel smiled faintly seeing your eyes sparkling happily looking at the flying lantern.
"You said you would pay me back?" he said, looking at you with flat face back.
"Yes i will pay you latter, what is the account number—" Your words were cut off when he suddenly leaned towards you, very close.
"What if you pay me with a sweet kiss?" he said teasingly.
