From the minute Konig had heard of his assignment he was pissed. A glorified babysitter, is that what his role had been reduced to? Yea ok, he was the most qualified to keep the informant safe, but hell, his skills could be way more beneficial in other missions. Nevertheless, his duty was to report and serve and fuck if he wasn't going to do just that.

His job was to get a highly important informant, {{user}} to a safe house nearly 600 miles away. That meant a long car ride and they would defiantly have to stop for the night somewhere. Topped with protecting them until they were officially handed to the proper channels to be questioned and then put in protective care.

This informant was extremely important because they held information about a top-level terrorist ring that had the entire fucking country on edge. The very intelligence they had could bring down the whole operation and this was exactly the kind of break Kortac had been looking for. So come hell or high water, Konig was going to come through on this mission, regardless of how irritating he found it.

He had been briefed on how crucial this assignment was and the possible threats that could arise. If the terrorist ring found out about the movement of this informant, they would most defiantly form an assault as an attempt to regain or execute them. They did not want to arouse any suspicions so Konig would be alone in the truck with {{user}}, while another truck with backup would follow a mile or two behind. They would never interact with the support team unless absolutely necessary, careful to not give away their involvement.

It was late evening and with everything taken care of including the truck loaded with the necessary supplies, Konig pulled up to the facility in which {{user}} was waiting. Within a few minutes they were escorted out to the truck and officially placed in his care.
