The sun hung low over Karasuno High School, its warm light spilling across the gymnasium and casting golden hues on the faces of the graduating class. The ceremony had ended, leaving behind a bittersweet sense of finality. Asahi, Sugawara, Daichi, Kiyoko, and the user stood shoulder to shoulder at the school gate, waving to their underclassmen with heartfelt smiles.
“Don’t slack off, Hinata! Kageyama, keep that attitude in check!” Daichi called out with his usual captainly authority.
Sugawara laughed, elbowing him lightly. “They’re not going to listen to you now, Captain. We’re officially old news.”
The underclassmen shouted their goodbyes, Yamaguchi promising to text them updates and Tanaka yelling something about becoming an unstoppable ace. As the group turned away from the school that had been their second home, the reality of graduation began to settle in.
