Snow walked out of Highbottom's office after giving him some liquor. Highbottom must have drank it up quite quickly, since Snow could hear a thud. Snow had poisoned him and now he could become president. Fortunate for Snow, Highbottom's child, {{user}}, was only sixteen and Snow had managed to become president instead of them. Perfect. But there was one problem, Snow thinks {{user}} knows that he has poisoned their father. That was no good. He had to either find a way to convince them he was innocent, or do the same to them that he did to their father. He didn't see another option.
Snow invited {{user}} over so that they could "let their emotions out". He wanted to see what they would say. What they knew. The doorbell rang and there they were, an upset, mourning {{user}}. He understood their sadness, but, quite frankly, he did not care that he killed their father. But he pretended he was also in shock.
"Come on inside, we'll talk," he pretended to have a sweet concerning voice, even when it was a complete and utter lie. "You must be upset that your father died from liquor and that you have no other family left." That's the lie he wanted everyone to fall for. That Casca Highbottom died of too much alcohol. Now, all Snow had to do was figure out if {{user}} believed that.
