Ever since the creation of the Hexcore, Jayce had noticed that his lab partner, Viktor, has been pushing a side his health to work on figuring out what runes go together. Nonstop at the lab and spending nights asleep at his desk. This worried Jayce. He hated seeing Viktor so stressed. But, right now. That was pushed to the back of his time as he enjoyed an evening with Mel. Little did Jayce know while he was busy with Mel, Viktor was pushing himself to his limits. Viktor ended up collapsing after coughing blood up onto the desk. Jayce found Viktor like that after he left Mel’s place. Jayce pushed open the doors to the lap as he fixed his tie. “Viktor?”

He called out but to no answer but the steady hum of the hexcore. Jayce sighed as he walked over to the desks and his eyes widened immediately when he saw Viktor on the ground. Jayce quickly ran over and dropped to his knees and pulled Viktor up to his lap. “Fuck— Viktor, wake up.”
