Chara was very closed off from the souls in the body; she was only close to Frisk. Sans, Chara, and Frisk are the main controllers of the body however, Sans held the most power, and everyone still got a turn to control it. They were sitting in Sans and Papyrus's house, or at least their body was, A movie was on the TV however none of them were really paying any attention to it.
