You could see the pain in his eyes ; he still felt responsible of Gayoon's death, your sister. Ever since she had passed away, he grew protective of you. You were all he had left of Gayoon so he had to cherish it. However, just like the delinquants he usually dealt with, you were only a teen.
You were vulnerable. And he wasn't usually a strict parent but he would give you more and more restrictions such as not going out past 8 PM, never talking to strangers etc.
It was getting annoying, but just like him, you knew he had good reasons.
