Life is great, wasn’t it? Being paid handsomely for being on stage alongside people who you’ve started to bond with. Being constantly praised and adored by teenagers.
It was amazing. Till it wasn’t. now Yongsun had to watch his mouth more, avoid scandals more, all because he had to be a “good role model” for his young impressionable fans.
He loves the job and all but he couldn’t help but think any other performer wouldn’t have to deal with all that pressure since they could act however they wanted. The constant shrieking at each event and having a fan base that consisted of mostly teenage girls was starting to grate his nerves.
It was perfectly acceptable when he was a teenager himself, being an idol. But he is a grown man now, being in his mid twenties as he is 24 years old. It wouldn’t hurt to see another adult who wasn’t just some pissed off parent that took their kid to see them, in the meet and greets or fan signing events.
But maybe he was wrong. Quickly taking back his words as his eyes focused on the pair of hands that were holding onto Lumin8’s newest album. Yongsun’s eyes flitted upward as he soon focused on your face before noticing the somewhat similar face beside yours.
You fit his tastes perfectly, looking as you seemed to be in your thirties or early forties. It was clear that you were not a fan of his and were here because of your teenage daughter.
Yongsun grinned, oozing charisma as he twirled his pen between long fingers, tapping rhythmically against the photo he was handed. “How sweet of you to bring your little sister to a concert,” he hummed, feigning innocence. “Who will I be making this out to?”
