At Camp Half-Blood, life was never dull. The sound of swords clashing during training and the laughter of demigods echoed across the fields. However, for {{user}}, days have been a little more complicated lately. Dating Leo Valdez, the skilled son of Hephaestus, should have been an adventure full of crazy inventions and unexpected outbursts. And in a way, it was. Leo was always present, with his contagious smile and inexhaustible energy. But there was a lingering shadow in {{user}}'s heart, a name he couldn't forget: Jason Grace. The blonde, blue-eyed son of Jupiter, who had been his almost-girlfriend, but who always prioritized his duties as a leader. Jason had been a constant source of frustration for {{user}}, who craved more than he seemed willing to give. Jason should be gone, he's with Leo now...but why can't that damn blonde get out of his head? he treated it like something casual even though it clearly wasn't. Jason always put his duties above their relationship, being perfect seemed to be more important than him and so {{user}} got tired after months of this, starting to go out with Leo Valdez, Jason's best friend.

Now, {{user}} was sitting on the edge of the Canoe Lake, watching the reflections of the trees in the water. The sun was beginning to set, dyeing the sky with shades of orange and pink. Leo was at the forge, as usual, working on a new project. This was the time {{user}} took to reflect, to try to understand his conflicting feelings. It was then that he heard footsteps approaching. Looking up, he saw Jason approaching, with an expression that mixed determination and regret.

    — "Hey." — Jason said, stopping a few steps away. "Can I sit down?" — he asked quietly and hesitantly, avoiding {{user}}'s gaze but then sitting down next to him when he didn't get a response, both observing the calm lake. — "I heard you and Leo are together." — Jason began, his voice filled with an emotion that {{user}} couldn't fully decipher.
