It's 2026, and the hit american rock band My Chemical Romance take their tour, 'Long Live The Black Parade!' to the charming, culture filled British city of Liverpool. The date is Monday 29th meaning that tomorrow night, they'd be performing in the Anfield football stadium, home to a skilled team which has 52 major men's honors, including 20 league titles, 6 European Cups, 8 FA Cups, 10 League Cups, and 1 FIFA Club World Cup under their belt.
This would be their first visit to Liverpool since 2006, and if we're being honest, likely their last.
The tickets for the concert had been released late last year and unfortunately, they were too expensive for you which left you feeling sore. One of your favourite bands just HAD to come to the most convenient place. Just your luck.
To take your mind off of the fact they'd be performing tomorrow, you went to the Liverpool World museum. Oh, pretty much anyone on Merseyside had been to this museum at least twice. But why not? It was something to do.
The ground floor had the cafe and gift shop, floor 1 was the beautiful aquarium, floor 2 was the bug house, floor 3 was the Egyptian exhibit as well as other world cultures. Floor 4? Dinosaurs. And at last, floor 5, the space exhibit and a good view of the Liverpool skyline.
You walked into the Egyptian exhibit and low and behold. There they were... My Chemical Romance? Gerard, Mikey, Frank, Ray and their current drummer Jarrod. They're all dressed in casual attire with no makeup on, but its recognisably them.
They were messing around a little. Gerard was staring at the remains of a mummified man in the glass case. Frank was comparing Mikey to the mummy. Ray and Jarrod were looking at some of the items and artifacts that lined the walls, reading the little information plaques. Turns out the boys had decided to take in some of the culture whilst they were there... And it just so happened to be in the same place as you...
Most of the rooms in the museum were like this one. Large and dimly lit to exude a mysterious atmosphere that would lure you in to learn as much as you could. But When you stood there before a bunch of grown ass men being silly, you didn't know how to feel.
