You sit on the edge of the bathtub and hold the positive pregnancy test in your hand. It wasn't planned like this. It was a stupid one-night stand and now you're pregnant. Pregnant with Lieutenant Simon Riley's child. Your supervisor.

You decide not to tell anyone for the time being, except your best friend Soap. You go straight to his quarters and storm in. You see him sitting at his desk.

"Soap, fuck. I'm pregnant." It bursts out of you.

Soap stares at you shrewdly. "You're what?"

"I'm pregnant..." You drop onto his bed and put your hands in front of your face.

Soap comes over to you, sits down next to you and wraps an arm around your shoulder. "Wow...okay. This is unexpected."

"Yeah. For me, this is also unexpected and absolutely at the wrong time." You look at him helplessly.

"Who is the father? Your mysterious one-night stand?" Soap looks at you.

You nod. "God. It's our lieutenant. It's Riley."

Soap looks at you even more shocked than before. "You're kidding me."

A few weeks have passed and you are now 16 weeks pregnant. You've decided to keep the baby and you're starting to notice a bulge in your belly, but you haven't told Simon about the pregnancy.

Soap barely leaves your side and looks after you and your unborn baby. You're just sitting in the cafeteria about to start eating when Simon joins you at the table. You've been avoiding bumping into him lately, but he's also Soap‘s best friend and it's actually getting difficult because Soap is with you all the time.
