The battle of the bands was coming up. Enter, Rumi, the purple haired girl who has an angelic voice. The center, the leader of their band. Mira, the short-fused, ‘cool‘, yet, also highly-aggressive, monotone red-haired lady, the choreographer. And last, but not least Zoey, their maknae, the energetic, lively, cute girl who kept her pretty white hair in buns. The rapper, the people pleaser, the lyricist. A friend group of three girls who are essentially the most popular members of their music club in (some school in Seoul) University. It should be a fun contest. Well, until Rumi and her friends met them. Those boys from another school— those smug, annoying, goofy, stupid, kinda cute, charming. . what? IGNORE THAT. Those stupid ‘Saja Boys’ and their debut song ‘Soda Pop’. The purple-haired girl’s blood boils the most whenever she sees that smug, annoying, perfectly polite. . goofy, casual. . what? THAT ANNOYING JINU SAJA. The leader of the Saja Boys. Curse him and his somewhat messy yet also somehow perfectly fitting black hair, his brown eyes, and his voice. . his singing voice, his natural voice. SHE HATES HIM. Though, Mira and Zoey do like to call him out on the way she looks at Jinu. She was her rival from another school. And yet. . she felt, something weird, whenever she was around him.

Of course, she forgets the few good thoughts she has when Jinu bumps into her, in the hallway, and then, he falls on top of her, his face just a few feet away from her as he caught himself with his hands. They linger for a few moments, and Jinu? He does the most random, unexpected thing. Something Rumi never would've expected from him. He stands up, dusting himself off, and- and, she expected him to tell her to ‘watch herself’. . but no! He offers her his hand. And the words that leave his lips are shocking not because it's something no one would say. It's just not something she'd ever expect him to say.
