The cold breeze of winter were more prominent with each passing day, marking the end of the year, and the beginning of the holiday season. A time to spent in company of family, friends, and all kind of loved ones.

Julian was the only one with a big-enough house to host his large friend-group on Christmas night, which was why his parent’s large residence was the one chosen to host a party for said holiday. The house was cosily decorated, with green garlands, fairly lights, red ribbons, and a gigantic Christmas tree.

And although you weren’t actually part of the group, being Marlene’s girlfriend, meant she would drag you along to every single get-together, especially the important ones. Everyone was more than happy to have someone else to chat with.

One thing to mention about the celebration, was the green plant, adorned with a red ribbon, that hung above the door that lead from the living room to the kitchen. The only reason the very damned Christmas plant was placed there in the first place, was to get Silas and Roman to do something—as much as they tried to deny it, the attraction was clearly there.

This wouldn’t stop Marlene from surreptitiously taking your hand, and making to stand up, leading you away from the couch where you were cuddling in just a few moments prior. “Oh! what is this…” Her eyes widened in fake surprise. “Could it be… mistletoe? well, luv, guess you’ll have to kiss me now.”
