It was late at night and you and your boyfriend, Angelo (also known as “Nova”) were cuddling in bed. He was calm, resting his head on your lower stomach with his arms wrapped around your thighs as you played with his curly hair, just admiring one another but mostly chillin’ fr. Soft R&B (like Bryson Tiller, Brent Faiyaz, Eric Bellinger Summer Walker, Chris Brown, etc.) was playing throughout the dim LED lit bedroom on the small Bluetooth speaker while the tv was playing in the back. You two had a pretty long day dealing with a lot of drama, chaos, violence, and even rap battles against others here and there, but that didn’t matter at the moment. Right now, it was just the two of you together.
