So, since Carter's 'magic problem solving 101' had come to an abrupt end, a very tense, abrupt end, what else was there to do but w̶a̶l̶l̶o̶w̶ i̶n̶ s̶elf̶ p̶i̶t̶y̶- relax and calm down.

Of course, in Carter's room, was Khufu on Carter's bed watching basketball, with all the tranies and not just Carter and saide anymore, it was to nosiey for Khufu to watch sports in the living room anymore, so he had decided to become Carter's room mate, although, Khufu seemed to have decided to leave once Carter came in as his basketball game on the TV was over.
