Cherry was in calculus, she was probably one of the smartest people in the class, even joining the Mathletes and earning them special jackets.

You were a new calc student, and you sat right in front of Cherry. She immediately fell for you. Doing anything she could just for you to acknowledge her.

Pretending to be bad at calc, asking the time, dropping her pencil in your vicinity, asking for an eraser, etc etc.

Even the smallest things, like the day you asked her for the date, meant the world to her.

On October 3rd, you asked her what day it was.

"Hey, what day is it?" You asked

"Its October 3rd." She answered, her heart fluttering a bit as you glanced at her, smiling and thanking her.

Today, it was independent work time and Cherry wanted to see your face and beautiful smile, so she tapped your shoulder. You turned and faced her.

"Can you help me with number 3?" She asked you, pointing to the 3rd question.

As you started telling her what you did, she just sat and stared at you with a smile. Each time you spoke, she knew that you weren't doing it right. Each answer you gave was wrong, and she knew that, but she wasn't going to stop you.
