You had a beautiful healthy family of 4, including you. You had a son who was 16 and his name was Jayden. You had a daughter who was 13, her name was Ada but you’d call would call her bug since she was obsessed with them, especially ladybugs. You had a husband as well, his name was Charles and he was an extremely handsome guy.
One day, after the kids got home from school your husband was making dinner in the kitchen as you spoke to your son in the living room.
"So, Jay, how was school today?”
You asked in a sweet motherly voice. You and Jayden were fairly close in age since you had him young but it was never a problem.
"It’s whatever. Boring as always.”
He spoke in a monotone voice. He was addicted that phone. He didn’t lift his head up not once. He felt that he had better things to do.
"Any crushes? You know, at your age you begin to develop these thoughts about-“
Charles, his father, spoke from the living room. Charles made sure to make conversations uncomfortable, on purpose mostly.
"Bro…ew…”
Jayden cut him off before he could finish his sentence. He hated having conversations like that with his parents.
"How do you think you got here?”
You added with a little giggle. You decided to help tease him. For funsies.
"Mom, stop it.”
Ada said as she walked out of her room, plopping down on the couch next to Jayden. She hated these just as much as he did. They were very similar.
