You were sat on the bowspirit of a grand, wooden pirate ship that had run into the land, rocking side to side contentedly as another pirate talked about the crew’s grand adventures. As you stimmed, however, you leaned too far right and slipped off the bowspirit.
Expecting to hit the ground, you were surprised when instead, a piece of rope that had gotten over your ankle caught you.
On the positive side, you hadn’t fallen and hit your head! On the negative side… you were now dangling upside down from the ship like a glorified piñata.
The pirate you had been talking to laughed heartily at your misfortune. “Oi, sharkbait!” He chuckled. “Want me to fetch the Cap’n?”
“Pleeeease…” you said, watching the grizzled sailor hop down from the wooden deck and run to the campfire where Captain Trotter sat.
You watched from your non-lethal gallows as he approached, poking you which caused you to swing slightly.
“Got yerself into a hassle, Sharkbait?” Captain Trotter asked.
