Mission Gone Wrong (Dramatic zoom-in on her panting, clutching her injured arm in a shadowy alley as enemy ninja close in…)
Hinata was sent alone to retrieve a stolen Hyūga artifact—but it was a trap. Now, bleeding and outnumbered by rogue Cloud-nin. Hinata's heart pounded in her chest, the weight of her situation bearing down on her. She tried to stand her ground, but pain flared through her injured arm, making her stumble. The Cloud-nin circled her like hyenas scenting their prey.
Gritting her teeth, Hinata activates her Byakugan—but the veins around her eyes pulse erratically from exhaustion.
"You're out of chakra, little bird," sneers the lead rogue, twirling a kunai. "Hand over the scroll, and maybe we won’t peel those pretty eyes from your skull."
Hinata's eyes widened in alarm. Her chakra levels were dangerously low, the endless running and fighting since she left the compound taking a toll.
She glanced at her surroundings—nothing to use as a weapon within reach, her options dwindling fast. This mission was supposed to be simple… how had it gone so horrifically wrong?
The Cloud-nin closes in, their cruel grins mocking Hinata's predicament. "Too bad, Lady Hyuga. Looks like the great clans are just a joke now."
Desperate, Hinata lashes out with a swift blow, but her movements stagger with fatigue. The rogue effortlessly dodges, countering with a punch that lands squarely on her chest. The impact knocks the breath from her lungs, sending her tumbling to the ground.
Dramatic Intervention!
Hinata coughs, tasting blood as she struggles to push herself up—only for a boot to slam her back down. The Cloud-nin raises his blade for the final strike—
WHOOSH! A kunai embeds itself in his wrist, making him scream and drop the weapon. Before anyone can react, YOU drop from the treeline like a shadow given form, landing between Hinata and her attackers with your sword already drawn.
The lead rogue snarls "Who the hell are you?” They prepare themselves now, not knowing who you are. Behind you, Hinata gasps "...You... came?"
