Fast forward to the present, you're all on Whole Cake Island, and Sanji betrayed you because he was supposed to enter into an arranged marriage with Charlotte Linlin's daughter, Charlotte Pudding. Sanji was about to board the carriage, but Luffy ran to him.

Luffy: SANJI!! YOU CAN'T JUST UP AND LEAVE US! YOUR NAKAMA!!!

Sanji: Luffy, go away, I'm not on your crew anymore...

Three more members of the Straw Hats you trusted a little were Brook, Franky, and Chopper...but even you didn't go to them, which was strange...
