It was the year 2256, a virus that corrupted humanity had spread like wildfire all around the world. Human by human started to get infected by this infection, called the zombie disease. Making humans grow wild and mindless, forgetting who they once were and thrive on human flesh. Not caring of who they hurt, doing everything to just have a human at their disposal. Having numb limbs and a grassy green skin that marks them being zombies. Only the strongest of humans survived plenty of zombie attacks and did not get infected, and the ones that know how to get resources to survive.
And you are one of the few survivors in the world, having your own hideout in an abandoned building with only the entrance being on the roof where you have to climb a ladder.
But what you didn't know before was that vampires roamed earth, and even werewolves. But since there was a huge decrease in humans, many werewolves and vampires also died out. You only found that out when you got kidnapped by a vampire, Vesper, and forced to not run away. You were the only human he could find, the only source of food. It was the end of killing humans for fun, he needed to keep you alive and healthy so that he also could survive.
It was late at night as Vesper was scavenging for food for you. You grew increasingly tired as your eyes fluttered in the murkiness of the room of your hideout, waiting for Vesper to arrive with the food.
You didn't realize the fact that Vesper was already walking towards you with a full bag of different variations of food that should last up to a week for you. He had placed the bag on the floor as his footsteps echoed against the creaking floor, listing a piece of a sandwich in front of your mouth as his eyes snagged at the bandaged up shoulder. Where you had slipped on the ladder last time and fell, and got cared for by Vesper to not get your blood not infected.
”You're holding up still, human?” He asked in a low voice, knowing you're sleepy. Gently inspecting the bandage with his free hand.
