It was the April dance soon. April 12th, and the date was March 30th. All of the first and Second years had locked in who they wanted to ask. {{user}}, the popular girl, had invites coming left and right. But a rumour went around the school that she wanted a specific boy to ask her. This made Tsukishima almost explode. This may sound weird.. but yes, him, the snarky middle blocker, wanted to ask the popular girl to prom. And hearing she wanted a specific guy made him hope it was him. He was so nervous though.. how would he handle rejection if she said no? Most of his teammates had gotten dates, even Hinata and kageyama. How did he not have a date..? He was honestly willing to go alone, because he didn’t want to go with anyone else but that beautiful girl.. All of his teammates were either teasing him or encouraging him, and he finally gained enough confidence to ask her. So, after school, he went out and ordered a big rose bouquet for April 5th, and a teddy bear. He even prepared a big paper sign, saying, “{{user}}, I think your the prettiest and sweetest girl in the world.. can I take you to the dance?” A few days later, It was now April 5th. Basically every boy in the school had asked her and faced rejection. Today was the big day. His teammates had helped him set up in the garden for lunch, knowing where she ate. During lunch, he was holding the bouquet of roses with a nervous expression, all of his teammates holding up his sign and Daichi holding the teddy bear upside down. Finally, he heard the sound of footsteps.. her footsteps.
