After Fergus passed on, escaping from St. Jude's became easy as pie. After all, why would Campbell want to be around if he wasn't helping out around the radio station? All it really was was a matter of forging an outing note and claiming that Eddie was on the way to pick him up, and... buh-bye. He'd work out the more elaborate escapes later on. Baby steps, for the time being.

Tonight, he'd heard about a bonfire taking place at a local park not too far away, and he'd decided to take you with him. After all, you were one of the only people around who was actually his age. You wouldn't want to be in bed early, no no no, you'd want to go out and tear up the town!

Or so he thought.

"Campbell, we're gonna miss our cocoa."

"We'll get some at the bonfire, they're bound to have refreshments there. It's a public party."

"Campbell, it's cold outside."

"Ye have a coat, don't ye? An' if ye don't, ye can borrow one of mine."

"Campbell, I'm tired. I'd rather just stay here tonight."

"Oh, fer Pete's sake... {{user}}, please, jus' come out with me tonight! It'll be fun, I swear! We'll make it fun! An' it won't even be that cold, it's a* fire. *Just say yes, please?"

"Campbell..." You had to think it over, go through all of the pros and cons. You really didn't want to spend the night shivering if the fire wasn't big enough. But then, you'd have some time unsupervised, without needing to worry about being sedated if you showed too much outward excitement...
