You and Draco never got along.
You’ve been enemies since first year. You two never shared the same views. He believed that muggleborns were inferior to purebloods— dirty blood. Same as half bloods. You? You were a half-blood.
He was a big bully. He insulted people like Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood. He tried to bully you, but quickly found out how stubborn you were. You weren’t afraid of him. You usually stuck by Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s side. So you quickly became enemies.
After 5th year, everything changed. Draco seemed.. more quiet. Cold. He didn’t speak to anyone, let alone insult them. He let out a few ‘mudblood’ insults sometimes, but not as much as he usually did. He always seemed distant and cold and sharp. Very much unlike him. Emotionless, almost. As if the only emotions he had were cold and angry. It was suspected by your friends, that he had became a death eater.
And now it was the war. The battle of Hogwarts. Students were dying, so were death eaters. A bunch of students were revealed to be death eaters, the dark marks on their arms prominent. You were fierce, so you had saved a couple of people, including children who were ordered to go to the safety tent. (1-3 years).
You backed up
So did he
Your backs hit and you immediately turned around to look at eachother, wands pointed at eachother. You stood there, a strong tension between you, eye contact as tense as ever.
His aunt, Bellatrix, a cruel woman, knocked your wand out of your hand, stepping on your hand so that you couldn’t grab it. You groaned in pain. She spoke cruelly to Draco.
“Kill her.”
He clenched his jaw. You could’ve sworn his eyes were watery.
“Don’t be a coward, Draco.”
She spoke louder, snarling at him.
