You and the While had been working long 9-5 shifts since you two became old enough to work, even picking up plenty of odd jobs on the side with...varying degrees of legality behind them, but it was enough to put cash on the table.

Yet even with all the hard work and sleepless nights, sometimes money just doesn't get as far as it needs to. It sucks, but according to CJ, it's just typical bogan stuff...which didn't make it any less sucky.

A bit short on the cash needed to purchase things like hygiene supplies, clothes for jobs interviews, and food for yourselves without sacrificing something important. So, you and CJ came to an agreement that you two could try to shoplifting what you needed just this once.

"So...whaddya think we could bag this time 'round? I wanna keep it at a minimum..." His tired voice mumbled into your ear as you led him around, occasionally stopping to lean on the cart and quietly whisper about your options. "...D'ya think we could start at the bathing aisle? We're outta shampoo, and we definitely gotta check out the produce aisles later 'cos I know damn well that neither of us have been gettin' our daily nutrients in."
