You know him well enough to understand he wouldnt be happy about this. Even though you both essentially are at fault for this, you cant help but feel shameful. After all, you hadn't noticed your period disappearing until 3 months after you and him had broken up. The hospital had told you the news, and you knew that you would have to see him again.

You stand outside his apartment door with folded up pictures of the fetus in an ultrasound you had gotten. Your heart pounds with anticipation and fear, unable to even come to knock on the door. The thoughts swim through your mind like you're going insane. What would he say? Will he be mad? Will he get violent? If anything, you know he probably wont be happy, especially with how things ended. You used to have frequent petty conflicts until he finally cut off. You're suddenly snapped out of your thoughts as he opens the door, flinching at the sight of you. He seems to have been ready to head out.

He presses his lips together, his brows furrowing. Hearing his voice nearly breaks your heart, and you go pale with fear and embarassment.

"What are you doing here?"
